Description
Description
Rhythm is an essential skill for bassists, but it can be difficult to know how to develop a good sense of rhythm. While practicing rhythm can involve playing along with a drummer, training with a click is the best way to develop an accurate sense of rhythm on your own!
A click is a sound produced by a metronome or rhythm machine as a tempo guide. It produces a continuous sound with consistent timing, eliminating unnecessary noises, allowing for more intense training. This book is a collection of training exercises using clicks. It includes a variety of training phrases, including not just four clicks, but also alternate sounds and fewer clicks. This is a specialized instructional book for strengthening rhythm, helping you develop a precise sense of rhythm. *This book adds new elements to the well-received "Rhythm Training Book for Bassists," released in 2009.
・Features of this book: Introducing training methods using clicks!
Introducing the practice methods necessary to acquire an accurate sense of rhythm. By practicing with fewer clicks, you will also acquire the sense of creating your own rhythm.
You can visually check the content of the phrase!
In addition to the staff notation and tablature, there are also note value graphs and click notations. You can visually understand the duration of notes and the timing of the clicks.
Explaining the characteristics of various rhythms!
Three rhythms are explained: 8-beat, triplet & shuffle, and 16-beat. Learn about the various rhythms that can be used for any genre of music.
You can learn practical bass lines!
The book mainly features exercises in 4-bar units, but also includes summary exercises in 8-bar units. It covers everything from individual practice using a click to practice songs that can be enjoyed in a band setting.
