This artist book looks back on the history of SID, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, from the perspective of a musician. SID is a rock band that has gained popularity for its rock sound, which is based around popular melodies and flexibly incorporates a variety of elements such as pop songs, rock, fusion, pop, and jazz, as well as for its spectacular live performances. This year marks the 20th anniversary of their formation.
This official artist book looks back on SID's history from the perspective of the band's players, with long interviews in which each member talks about the past, present, and future, as well as an introduction to the equipment they use and an analysis of their songs and playing style. It also includes exclusive photos taken just for this book and private photos taken by the band members, digging into the band from various perspectives and once again highlighting the appeal of SID.
Prior to the general release on January 5, 2024, the book will be available for pre-sale at the SID 20th Anniversary GRAND FINAL "Ichiban Suki na Basho," a commemorative live concert to conclude the band's 20th anniversary, to be held at Nippon Budokan on December 27, 2023. As a special bonus for purchasing the book at the venue, customers will receive an original postcard featuring a photo not included in the magazine.
