Description
Description
ZIGGY is a rock band that debuted in the late 1980s and gained immense popularity with their flashy, flamboyant fashion and rock 'n' roll sound with an outstanding sense of melody.
This book, "The Place I Arrived: Morishige Juichi's Memoirs," is a memoir in which Morishige Juichi, the band's founder, vocalist, and songwriter, recounts the turbulent life of his life.
The interview covers ZIGGY today, a time when the band has gone through many twists and turns, from their musical experiences as children to the formation of ZIGGY, the struggles they faced after their major label debut, the glory that came with creating a hit song, members leaving, joining and returning, and a hiatus. The interview also looks back on their turbulent journey from a current perspective, sometimes with philosophical reflections, including their singing, songwriting, their passion for instruments, and their struggles with alcoholism.
In addition to the regular edition of the book only, a special box edition will also be released.
The special box edition comes in a three-sided case and includes a 28-page saddle-stitched photo book and message card, which were taken during a revisit to the live houses and studios that nurtured Morishige's life before his major debut. The precious photographs are a must-see for fans.
