FAQ

Description

Since its release in 1960, the Jazz Bass has been a staple of Fender's bass lineup alongside the Precision Bass, and continues to influence the music scene to this day. Numerous variations and reissues of the original, as well as models inspired by it by other companies, have been produced, establishing it as a solid standard for electric bass guitars.

This is a watch produced in late 1964. It is highly original and in excellent condition, making it ideal for collectors.

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.9 kg. The alder body is finished in a vibrant three-tone sunburst finish with a yellow inner lining. While there is some weather checking, minor dents, paint chipping from the finger rest on the body side and next to the pickup, paint chipping from the belt buckle, and slight tarnish on some parts, the paint shines well and the guitar is in relatively good condition considering its age. All covers are included.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is, needless to say, an excellent rosewood. The smooth texture of the peeling paint on the back of the neck is a vintage feature. There are some scratches around the headstock, but like the body, it is in relatively good condition. The tuners are slightly inconsistent in tightness, but they function properly. The frets and nut are original parts, and although they show some wear, there are no issues such as excessive choking. The headstock is 14.6mm thick, and the nut width is 37.6mm. It features the narrow width typical of an A-neck and a relatively clean neck shape.

[Electrical system]
The controls are standard jazz bass wiring (2 volume/1 tone). The pickups are early gray bobbin pickups, and the internal parts, including the pickups and controls, are in perfect condition. Backed by high-quality materials, this guitar boasts a wide range of tone, excellent picking response, and a well-balanced, full-bodied tone with a rich bottom end. While the guitar's stunning looks tend to grab attention, the sound is also impressive.
