Description

[Ikebe Musical Instrument Store 50th Anniversary Model]
This special edition features a sandblasted finish, with wood selected and ordered by Ikebe staff at a German factory!

This special edition model was created as part of a 50th anniversary project, building on the long-standing relationship of trust between Sadowsky, Warwick (manufacturing/distribution factory), and Ikebe. Since the transition to German manufacturing, it is the world's first shop-ordered Metro Line (regular series) model.

Equipped with original parts such as a lightweight chambered body with an internal cavity, JJ pickups with hum-canceling structure, an active circuit with treble/bass boost EQ and bypass, passive tone control, ultra-lightweight tuners (tuners), and a bridge that produces excellent response, the guitar boasts a wide, flat, "resonant sound" that responds well to the touch of the pliers, and high playability, boasting world-class pro-spec sound that is directly connected to the stage, recording, and other live performances.

This special edition of the highly acclaimed German-made Metro Line features a sandblasted finish, a finish not normally available. By blasting fine particles into the wood, the surface is shaved, creating a three-dimensional effect on the ducts, which are then finished in a two-tone color that highlights the ducts. This custom specification was previously only available on a select few Warwick models, making it a rare model, with only a handful produced for the globally acclaimed Warwick Ikebe custom model. While achieving a unique look not found on standard models, the same quality remains true (in fact, perhaps due to the limited production, the instrument is crafted with a sense of commitment), allowing you to enjoy the unique Sadowsky sound.
Of course, Ikebe staff carefully selected each piece from the vast stock of wood at the local factory in Germany, taking into account weight, grain, texture, etc.

This model was made possible thanks to our long-standing strong relationship of trust with Sadowsky/Warwick and the special opportunity of Ikebe's 50th anniversary. Please come and experience it for yourself.
