Description

Brubaker, which boasts the world's best painting techniques and high manufacturing skills to embody unique concepts, has released models to be exhibited at the 2025 NAMM Show!

Brubaker is a handmade bass brand that has been described as a "magician of color and wood" and has become renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, original designs, and outstandingly beautiful finishes since its founding in 1987.
In recent years, he has also been known for working on the woodworking of Ken Smith, a leading high-end bass brand. The warmth and flexibility that are characteristic of instruments that are thoroughly handcrafted can be fully experienced with this model, and even though it is a traditional-style bass, it has a rich texture, a detailed sound image, and other features that suggest its high potential as an instrument.

This guitar features an alder body with a rare flame-grained spalted maple top, a maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard, and the original color, Gloss Spalted Caramel Fade, brings out the grain.
The thin, sturdy neck features a deep "bolt-through" neck joint, which extends all the way to the front pickup, ensuring smooth vibration transmission and producing rich sustain, a deep tone, and a crisp, crisp low B string sound. The joint heel is also beautifully contoured, allowing for stress-free fingering in the upper positions all the way to the very last fret.

While the sound is based on the traditional J-type, it is sprinkled with Brubaker's unique essence throughout, allowing you to create a sound that blends into the ensemble, from a thick, warm low end to a crisp slap sound, resulting in a high-quality sound and excellent playability.
This unit is equipped with a Nordstrand module from the company's patented BOB (Brubaker On Board) Swappable Pre-Amp System, which has a wide range of capabilities from pop to powerful rock sounds, gospel, and more, and the preamp module can be easily replaced with just three fixing screws.

A TRUE PASSIVE module is also included, so you can swap it out for a passive module if you want to customize your sound with effects or amplifiers. You can also order other modules from manufacturers such as Aguilar, Bartolini, and Darkglass, so you can customize the instrument to your liking at a later date.

This is a rare Brubaker model exhibited at NAMM that is rarely available in Japan, so don't miss this opportunity to get your hands on one!
