Description

Sadowsky's new standard series "MetroLine" is manufactured at Warwick's state-of-the-art facilities.

Roger Sadowsky's goal was to further improve his already highly successful bass design through numerous detailed refinements. With his self-developed active circuit, he succeeded in elevating the J/J bass sound to a new level. All of the characteristics of this bass—the typical Sadowsky tone, with its clear, articulate lows, modern yet not overly aggressive midrange, and clear highs—are carried over to the 21-fret vintage J/J bass, exclusively manufactured in Germany by the MetroLine series. This exceptionally lightweight bass is perfect for bassists looking for a lightweight bass that combines modern bass sound with easy handling for stage performance. It also features original parts such as hum-canceling JJ pickups, an active circuit with bypass, passive tone controls, treble and bass EQ boosts, ultra-lightweight tuners, and a responsive bridge, ensuring world-class sound and playability.

After receiving worldwide acclaim for its domestically produced models, the transition to models manufactured at the Warwick factory in Germany has become a hot topic. While retaining most of the basic concepts and specifications, the new models utilize Warwick's strength of "vast wood stock" and hand-selected materials, as well as chambered bodies not available in Japanese-made models, resulting in lightweight bodies of approximately 4kg or less for all models. Experience this new Sadowsky challenge for yourself.
