LAKLAND is one of the most talked-about brands right now, thanks to its use by famous musicians.
Founded in 1994, Lakeland is a new brand that has captivated musicians around the world with its solid construction and sound, while still incorporating innovative ideas while building on tradition.
This instrument is part of the Shoreline Series, assembled in Japan and uses most of the same parts and wood as the USA Series. It features a swamp ash body with a gorgeous quilted maple top, a maple neck and fingerboard, and is equipped with an original pickup/preamp. The preamp can boost/cut the mid-range frequencies of 1100Hz/900Hz/600Hz/275Hz within the cavity, allowing you to adjust it to suit your playing style.
Furthermore, the rear pickup is coil-tappable, providing a wide range of sounds from a thick MM-like sound to the '60s JB and '70s JB sounds, making it suitable for any genre.
The sturdy 5-bolt-on neck steadily transmits neck vibrations to the body, the cutaway is shaped deeper than the 22nd fret for improved playability, the double-design bridge allows for tension control, and the finish features a smooth curve from the fingerboard to prevent the head from rising are all ideas unique to Lakeland, and demonstrate their commitment to providing players with something better.
The sound, which is an evolution of the JB and MM types, covers everything from thick, taut sounds to soft sounds, allowing you to approach a variety of playing styles and genres, making it a reliable companion!
