Lotus was born from the concept of "making it easier and more fun to express the music you play, whatever the genre." The brand was created by trumpeter Adam Rappa himself, and was born from a series of thorough test runs.
For trumpets, you can choose from six rim sizes, ten cup depths, and three material combinations.
This is a mouthpiece that we can introduce as a new standard, regardless of genre, such as jazz or classical.


What is a LOTUS mouthpiece?
Incredibly easy to tune and play. Improved tone, accuracy, and durability. Familiar rim and cup make it easy to switch from other manufacturers. Three annealed materials—brass, bronze, and nickel silver—give you more control over tone, projection, and the balance between stability and flexibility.


I, Adam Rapa, believe that mouthpiece choice is far more important than the trumpet you play. The mouthpiece is an instrument and a very important amplification device. What we call "sound" is determined more by the mouthpiece than by the trumpet. The mouthpiece plays a major role in determining the range, quality of articulation, flexibility, durability... the intonation of the entire instrument, the resistance you feel when moving air, and more. Your playing is affected more by the mouthpiece than the trumpet. And, fortunately, mouthpieces are much cheaper than trumpets!

◯About the "L2" cup size
The L2 cup is equivalent to a C cup, but is ideal for jazz and commercial players.
You sacrifice a little warmth and width in the sound, but you get maximum power in the high frequencies.
Think of it like an L-cup, but as a C-cup that turns into a flamethrower when you step on the gas.

If you're a classical player, you want maximum pop in your articulation,
If you want a clear sound even with slurred lines, be sure to try this cup.

If you're a lead player on a Bach 3C, or a jazz soloist looking for extra help cutting through the band with aggressive solos, you'll love the 2L2 or 2L2-HC (especially the nickel silver version).

[Ideal for the following situations]
Those looking for a turbo-boosted version of the Bach 1-1/2C, 3C, 5C, or 7C. Players who want the large cup volume of the 1-1/2C but need the smaller rim of the Lotus 2, 3, or 7. Players who want the tonal range of the 1-1/2C but want improved access and sustain in the upper register. Nickel silver allows you to play like you're on fire and keep it burning.
