Description

★The first step towards a new era of tone. The functionality of AXE I/O is condensed into a compact unit.

AXE I/O ONE is a 1-in/3-out, 24-bit/192 kHz USB-C audio interface designed specifically for guitar and bass recording. It features Z-TONER technology for continuously adjustable input impedance, two modes: JFET for a warm, tube-like sound, and PURE for a transparent, accurate sound, a pickup selector for choosing the optimal active or passive circuit configuration, an AMP OUT for easy re-amping, and an external controller input for connecting a footswitch or volume pedal. Plus, with bonus software like AmpliTube 5 SE and TONEX SE, and countless presets on ToneNET, AXE I/O ONE empowers you to achieve the best tone and finish your work, from recording guitar and re-amping to mixing.

◎For guitarists/bassists
AXE I/O ONE's Z-TONE circuitry allows for continuously adjustable input impedance between 2.2 kΩ (BOLD) and 1 MΩ (SHARP). Higher impedance settings (SHARP) produce a sharper, more cutting sound, while lower impedance settings (BOLD) produce a softer, fuller sound.

The JFET / PURE switch allows you to select the preamp mode: PURE provides completely transparent and accurate sound without any coloration, while JFET is a Class A discrete JFET mode that adds subtle harmonics and midrange warmth and punch. Additionally, the PASSIVE / ACTIVE switch allows you to optimize the setting for each pickup type.

◎External controllers can also be connected
The rear panel of the AXE I/O ONE features two controller inputs, allowing you to control parameters in software like AmpliTube with your feet. The MIDI IN/OUT terminals also make it easy to build a system that combines standard MIDI keyboards, MIDI controllers, and iRig Stomp I/O.

AMP OUT for convenient re-amping and capture
The AXE I/O ONE features an AMP OUT jack for sending signals directly to the input of an amp or stomp. This is ideal for capturing your favorite rig, including stomp, amp, and cabinet, using the TONEX software, or for re-amping, where you can send the recorded dry guitar signal to an external amp and re-record it.

◎A wide range of bundled software
AXE I/O ONE comes with licenses for AmpliTube 5 SE and TONEX SE, so you can immediately enjoy playing, recording, and mixing with the sounds of thousands of guitar/bass amps and effects.

AmpliTube 5 SE includes 80 gear models including stomps, rack effects, amps, cabinets, speakers, microphones, rooms, and more. Easily build complex series/parallel rig chains with drag-and-drop to emulate any type of sound.

TONEX SE includes numerous premium tone models of amps and pedals captured using AI Machine Modeling™ technology. You can also capture amps, cabinets, distortions, overdrives, EQs, fuzzes, and more with the TONEX software, allowing you to use the tones of your favorite gear in TONEX and AmpliTube 5.

ToneNET, an online tone-sharing platform, has over 6,000 AmpliTube presets and a growing number of user Tone Models (currently over 10,000) that you can access and download to expand your tones.

◎Plug and play, ready to use
AXE I/O ONE is USB-C bus-powered and requires no external power supply. With the AXE I/O ONE Control Panel, Ableton Live Lite, AmpliTube 5 SE, and TONEX SE for Mac and PC, included with your registration, you can start recording right away. With simple setup and a wealth of included software, you can create a production environment where you can start creating as soon as inspiration strikes.

AXE I/O ONE is also compatible with the latest iPads equipped with a USB-C port, allowing you to play and record with apps like the free AmpliTube CS, GarageBand, and TONEX. Registering your AXE I/O ONE serial number in the TONEX app also unlocks the in-app purchase TONEX SE, allowing you to play the same Tone Models on your iPad as you can on your Mac/PC. AXE I/O ONE also features MIDI IN/OUT, so it can be used as a MIDI interface for Mac/PC and iPad.

◎High-quality sound that exceeds its price and size
Despite its compact size, AXE I/O ONE doesn't compromise on sound quality, boasting professional specifications including high resolution up to 24 bit / 192 kHz, 108 dB dynamic range, and a frequency response of 9 Hz to 45 kHz.

AXE I/O ONE's XLR input features a high-quality PURE Class A microphone preamp with phantom power, allowing you to record vocals, acoustic guitars, pianos, and other instruments with clarity and cleanness, without any unwanted coloration.

Compact and portable enough to fit in a backpack or gig bag, AXE I/O ONE is the perfect interface for recording on the go.

Digital Control & Routing
AXE I/O ONE comes with a powerful and convenient Control Panel software for configuring inputs, outputs, routing, and any connected external controllers.

The INTERFACE tab allows you to view and configure active inputs, phantom power ON/OFF, AMP OUT ground lift, output volume, sample rate settings, and more.

The CONTROLLER tab allows you to configure the behavior (relative/absolute value, latch/unlatch, etc.) of the pedals connected to the two controller inputs, as well as the MIDI channel, MIDI CC number, minimum/maximum value, etc., to optimally configure the software you want to control.

The AXE I/O ONE Control Panel lets you easily control your AXE I/O ONE, enabling a fast, free workflow that puts you in control of your work.
