Description
Description
★5th generation UltraLite interface with outstanding sound quality and flexible inputs and outputs
Ultra-low latency and exceptional sound
The UltraLite-mk5 is a flexible, mobile USB 2.0 audio interface that combines ultra-low latency and superior analog audio quality at sample rates up to 192 kHz.
Equipped with all the necessary inputs and outputs, including two combo XLR/TRS, a line/Hi-Z guitar input, six line-level analog inputs, ten analog outputs, eight channels of optical digital I/O, S/PDIF digital, and a headphone output, this compact unit covers all the input and output systems you need, making it useful in a variety of situations.
●Perfect for both studio and stage use
The UltraLite-mk5 packs its features into a compact, rugged enclosure that you can take anywhere, and is perfect for the studio or stage, with or without a computer.
In addition to its use as an audio interface, the UltraLite-mk5 can also be used as a standalone mixer, providing 18 inputs and 22 outputs, giving you a total of 40 I/O channels on-site.
All the I/O you need
It connects to all the audio equipment you need for production, including speakers, headphones, microphones, guitars, synthesizers, keyboards, drum machines, effects processors, consumer optical devices and MIDI gear.
●Onboard Mixing: Record, monitor, route, and process all live inputs using the onboard multi-bus mixer with built-in DSP processing.
The latency due to internal processing is significantly shorter than that of native DAW processing, so it does not put a strain on your computer's processor and ensures smooth performance.
●DSP-processed effects: It is possible to apply the UltraLite mk5's own hardware DSP-driven effect processing, such as reverb, EQ, and compression, to the internal mix, independent of the host computer.
●Advanced extra channels other than physical ports: A ``loopback'' channel can be used via USB on your computer, allowing you to mix input and computer output for live streaming or podcasting.
●Mobile recording and mixing The UltraLite-mk5 has an internal mixer with functionality equivalent to that of a studio console and a wide range of input and output systems, so it can be fully functional even when used with a DAW installed on a laptop, meeting the needs of mobile recording and live mixing.
From the studio to the stage, the UltraLite-mk5 delivers exceptional sound quality, cutting-edge handling, and rock-solid performance, all backed by MOTU's renowned stable drivers.
