Equipped with a two-channel mic/line (guitar input compatible) it can be used in a variety of music and multimedia production environments, from simultaneous recording of guitar and vocals to high-quality audio recording for video creation.
It uses a USB Type-C terminal and can also be powered by USB bus power.
Natural and transparent sound quality, 192kHz compatible, Ultra-HDDA microphone preamp
Supports 192kHz. It uses TASCAM's original microphone preamp Ultra-HDDA, renowned for its high transparency and ultra-low noise, and has also refined the audio circuitry to achieve improved audio performance.
TASCAM's policy of "pursuing the reproduction of the original sound" has been further evolved to achieve even higher resolution.
Zero-latency, direct monitoring function The direct monitoring system branches off the signal before it is sent to the computer, allowing you to sing or play comfortably without any discomfort caused by delays in the monitor sound.

Using the US-2x2HR and a computer or smartphone, you can easily create podcasts or live stream. It also features a loopback function that allows you to return audio from your computer to the streaming software during live streaming, and you can switch between stereo and mono audio. It's also compatible with the widely used OBS.
MIDI input/output equipment
It is also equipped with MIDI input and output, allowing synchronization and control with various external devices that have MIDI terminals, such as keyboards, drum machines, and controllers.
