BLACK SMOKER Trad Master Series Beta PP5 (Sonic Blue/Light Aged)

This custom PB model is inspired by the favorite model of our store's signature brand, "BLACK SMOKER," played by our regular customer and friend, Masahiro Goto, who is one of the people who made the image of Black Smoker known to the world.

"BLACK SMOKER" is a handmade brand from BLACK CLOUD, a workshop in Nagano Prefecture, a mecca for musical instrument manufacturing where many brands are located. This brand has already gained popularity among many professional musicians for its sophisticated and high-quality sound, playability, and looks. It's a notable brand created by three people: CEO Kuroiwa, who has been involved in the design and manufacturing of numerous manufacturers and models, young builder Yanagisawa, who collaborates with him, and builder Itasaka, who has worked for a long-established Japanese brand.

The highly acclaimed and popular "TradMaster" series is a classic 5-string model with simple, standard specs that showcase the brand's true value, finished with a lacquer finish and aged finish for a vintage feel. Featuring a classic 60s bass bass with an alder body, maple neck, and pau ferro fingerboard, this bass features a classic alder body, maple neck, and pau ferro fingerboard. While the specs are simple, the carefully selected materials are immediately apparent upon first note. The neck shape is slim for playability, yet retains its core tone. The power of the original pickups, specifically tuned for this series, delivers a thick, punchy sound while accurately reproducing the body's resonance. The smooth setup allows for effortless playing, making this bass a testament to the instrument's excellent craftsmanship. The tonal inconsistency that can be a problem with many bass bass models is perfectly balanced, maintaining a sense of cohesion while retaining some wildness. The stylish lacquer finish with an aged finish, aged parts modified for this series like the pickups, and vintage-style bridge all contribute greatly not only to the looks but also to a thicker, more imposing sound.
