The player section is equipped with the same high-quality jog wheels as the CDJ-3000, offering incredibly smooth operation. This allows for precise and precise pitch bending and scratching. The mixer section features an intuitive layout, with each control positioned to maximize playability, including buttons for direct selection of the channel to which the BEAT FX is applied. By mastering this unit, you'll experience the ease of operation of a club-standard model, enabling you to perform boldly and confidently on the spot.

Analysis data such as waveform, BPM, and grid information are also available, allowing you to flexibly incorporate even newly released tracks into your DJ setlists.

■Compatible with a wide range of devices and DJ applications
In addition to playback from USB storage devices, the DJ can also be connected to a PC/Mac or mobile device for DJing. It can also play audio from external devices such as turntables and samplers, supporting a variety of performance styles that bring out the individuality of the DJ. It also features a USB-C port for connecting to a PC/Mac, allowing you to use rekordbox for Mac/Windows in Performance mode and Serato DJ Pro (*1) without a paid subscription plan. What's more, the LINK EXPORT function over Wi-Fi lets you wirelessly access music from a PC/Mac or mobile device (*2).

The XDJ-AZ features a 10.1-inch electrostatic touchscreen display, which can display up to 13 songs compared to its predecessor, the XDJ-XZ. This allows for quick access to the desired track from a vast music library. It also offers a variety of features to enhance the quality of your music selection, including PLAYLIST BANK, which allows you to register up to four playlists; TOUCH PREVIEW, which allows you to preview songs in a playlist without loading them; TOUCH CUE, which allows you to preview the upcoming development of the song currently playing on the deck; and keyboard search, which allows you to search for songs by entering text. Furthermore, the status of the PERFORMANCE PADS and BEAT FX settings are displayed alongside waveform information, so you can see all the information you need for your performance at a glance. The evolved, large touchscreen display provides comprehensive support from song selection to performance, enabling intuitive performance without hesitation.

■ Standalone 4-deck playback allows for versatile DJ play
With support for simultaneous playback on four decks, the XDJ-AZ offers a wide range of DJing possibilities. For smoother mixes, you can load tracks onto a third or fourth deck for preparation, or enjoy sophisticated performances like mashups using three or more decks. Connecting a CDJ series device also lets you take full advantage of all four decks without having to switch decks. Support for PRO DJ LINK connection supports high-quality performances by sharing beat and on-air information with an external player.

■Ultra-low latency wireless monitoring when connected to SonicLink-compatible DJ headphones
The XDJ-AZ features a built-in SonicLink transmitter, allowing you to pair with the HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones with the touch of a button. SonicLink is our proprietary, ultra-low latency wireless technology, transmitting audio at approximately 1/20 the latency of standard Bluetooth (SBC codec). This allows for wireless performance with no noticeable delay between DJ equipment operation and audio. Monitoring is also possible without the need to worry about headphone cables, allowing for a more flexible and comfortable performance in the DJ booth or on stage.
