Description
This is a must-have guitar for intermediate players looking to take their sound to the next level, and for active guitarists who want to play their best at live performances!
The D-12E Retro delivers the powerful, powerful bass and far-reaching sound that players demand from a speaker of this size. Its classic design is packed with functionality for stage use, making it a guitar that doesn't compromise on either looks or sound.
The solid spruce top delivers a fast response and articulation, providing a crisp, defined chord response and a clear, articulated sound for single notes. The solid sapele back and sides add a warm midrange and punch, perfectly blending with the powerful bass notes characteristic of a dreadnought, resulting in a well-balanced, full-bodied tone.
The internal structure uses scalloped X bracing, which means that the bracing supporting the top board has been deliberately shaved down to allow for easier vibration.
The top is more flexible and flexible while maintaining the necessary strength, allowing the sound to resonate well even with a light touch and producing a more dynamic sound when played firmly. The result is a sound that is more powerful and expansive when played with strokes, and that is richly expressive of even the most delicate nuances when played with fingers.
In terms of design, it features old-style dot inlays, multi-stripe rosettes, and nickel open-gear tuners with butterbean knobs inspired by the Style 18. Details evoking tradition are scattered throughout. The gloss finish that wraps around the entire body highlights the beautiful grain of the wood, creating a high-quality presence.
The neck features a Performing Artist shape with a high-performance taper that naturally changes width and thickness from low to high positions. This allows for a secure fit in the hand at low positions and allows for a more flexible fingering at higher positions. It's comfortable for hands of all sizes, providing a comfortable grip that reduces fatigue even during extended playing. The 645mm scale provides just the right amount of tension for improved clarity and projection, maintaining a clean, crisp sound.
Equipped with Martin E1 electronics and a built-in tuner, it's ready for performance through an amplifier. The included softshell case makes it easy to carry. From home practice to professional stage performance, it's a powerful instrument for any situation.
The D-12E Retro inherits traditional style while offering operability and practicality that are ideal for modern players. Its powerful yet refined sound is sure to elevate your playing to the next level. Experience the bold, clear Martin tone for yourself.
