Description
Description
This is a special, authentic guitar, custom-made for fingerstyle players, with materials selected in collaboration with the artisans at Yairi Studio!
K.YAIRI is a Japanese brand that has maintained its craftsman spirit since the 1970s, with the motto "Made in Japan, from a workshop in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture," and a style of handcrafted production by a small, elite team of around 30 people.
The brand offers a wide range of products, from custom models to affordable models, but its commitment to making everything in Japan has made it popular not only in Japan but around the world, with fans all over the world.
This "BLC CTM" is a one-of-a-kind, special custom model that was created by our staff, who planned the specifications from scratch to create a guitar that would be recommended for fingerstyle players, and then traveled to the Yairi workshop in Gifu to select the materials.
The body is the "BL" shape, which offers deep low frequencies and a wide dynamic range while remaining easy to hold, and a cutaway has been added to allow for playability in higher positions.
The top is made of dense, top-quality 4A-grade Adirondack spruce, while the back and sides are made of figured Indian rosewood. Working with the skilled craftsmen at Yairi Studio, we carefully select each piece from our extensive stock of wood to find the best tap tone and look.
In particular, the figured rosewood back was a very lucky piece that I was able to choose from the limited stock that happened to be in stock when I visited the workshop.
The high-grade Adirondack wood's strong, resilient fundamental tone, combined with the wide range and dynamic range of the BL body, creates an outstanding sound that's perfect for fingerstyle playing. While it lacks the brilliance of European spruce, it offers a deep, rich tone and a powerful, welling feel, making it a guitar you'll enjoy.
The nut width is a little wider than usual for a Yairi guitar, at 44mm, and the neck has a thin, U-shaped profile, allowing for smooth fingerstyle playing. The wider fingerboard also allows for a clearer sense of separation between the individual strings.
The tuning machines are the popular "GOTOH 510" tuners, known for their high precision and modern look. The details, such as the figured core binding, the rosette that combines wood and abalone, and the original headstock design, were all carefully ordered.
Both the sound and the looks are so good that it could be mistaken for the work of an independent producer.
Considering the level of perfection and luxurious specs, the price is surprisingly reasonable...
This is a special custom model that is one of a kind, so don't miss this opportunity to purchase one!
