Description
Description
Headway produces a wide range of models, from traditional to exotic and modern, and is known for its high level of craftsmanship. At Headway, there's the Aska Team Build, a small but highly skilled team of several members who have built a career under master builder Momose for 10 years. Aska Team Build incorporates rare woods not typically used in regular models, as well as processing and design techniques that require advanced skills, resulting in guitars crafted with meticulous attention to both sound and appearance.
This model, named "HYUGAZAKURA" after Hyuga City in Miyazaki Prefecture, features a European spruce top, Miyazaki mountain cherry wood for the back and sides, and mango wood for the center of the back. The Miyazaki mountain cherry wood used here has a powerful tone and a crisp sound similar to maple, which, combined with the soft, warm sound of the mango wood in the center, creates a wonderful balance. The body shape, known as a dreadnought, produces a powerful, dynamic sound, rich in overtones and a powerful tone.
The neck is made of African mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, and the thin neck grip is finished for excellent playability. It also incorporates two carbon support bars for added rigidity. This not only maintains the neck's rigidity, but also contributes to the quick response that transmits vibrations the instant you play.
The fretboard features a "phoenix," Miyazaki Prefecture's national tree, and is inlaid with feathers and fluttering cherry blossoms. The pickguard and back of the body feature a beach motif, with waves, seashells, and other seaside scenes meticulously incorporated into every detail. The body color, inspired by the unique beauty of Miyazaki Prefecture's ocean, is a vibrant blue reminiscent of the beach, creating a refreshing and elegant look. The included soundhole cover also features an original design, further enhancing this special guitar.
The unique design is the culmination of Headway's many years of know-how and technology.
This is truly a model worthy of being a show model!
