Made in 1993. The King of Flat-Top Guitars! A J-200 has arrived as a consigned used item!!
The powerful bass tones and sweet, crisp, and distinctive sound emanating from the 17-inch super jumbo body adorned with maple wood have captivated many people.
Upon arrival at our store, the guitar undergoes a complete setup at our partner repair workshop, including back bracing bonding, fret leveling, and nut groove and saddle adjustment.
The entire instrument shows weather checking, a slight bulge at the top, rust on the end pin, and scratches and signs of use commensurate with its age, which are common in Montana products from the 1990s.
There are no cracks or fatal damage to the wood, and the iconic pickguard decoration remains intact.
The bridge pins have been replaced with wooden pins.
The frets have approximately 40-50% remaining, and the truss rod is functioning correctly.
During setup, the string height was adjusted to an average value of 2.5mm for the 6th string and 2.0mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret.
Currently, there are no apparent issues with playability, but there is not enough remaining material on the saddle to lower the string height.
*Please note that the string height is the value at the time of setup and may change due to the properties of the wood.
It shows signs of having been played many times, but that also means it has a well-worn sound that's easy on the ears.
This guitar boasts a unique 90s Gibson feel that you can't find in current models.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
