Description
Description
The OM-45 is a historic model that was born in 1930 and was the first Style 45 to feature a 14-fret joint.
Only 40 units were produced until production ceased in 1933. It was reissued in 1977, and even in the 17 years leading up to 1994, only 195 units were produced, making it even rarer than the famous D-45.
The OM-45, manufactured in 1930, the first year of production, is particularly well known to fans as it was used by Masaharu Fukuyama.
This is the OM-45 Standard, reissued for the first time in about 30 years...
The vertical logo headstock and gorgeous hexagonal inlay fingerboard shine, creating a truly luxurious look that symbolizes a classic flagship. And only the highest quality wood materials approved by Martin are used, resulting in a superb sound.
The OM (Orchestra) has the same compact body size as the 000 (Triple O) and the same long scale of 645mm as a dreadnought, giving it a wide range and a volume that is surprising given its compact size, making it suitable for a wide range of play styles, from flat-pick strokes to delicate fingerstyle.
This is a superb product that combines the sparkling overtones unique to Style 45 with the powerful fundamental tone characteristic of OM, resulting in a refined tone like crystal.
