Description
Description
The guitars are made using carefully selected materials, solid technical skills, and designs born from Dana's extensive experience, and they combine ``high precision as an instrument'' with ``a musical, rich tone,'' earning them high praise from many musicians.
The "OM/C Soloist" is the most representative model that symbolizes Beaujois.
This guitar was released in 1985 at the request of Eric Schoenberg, a famous ragtime guitarist. Its beautiful silhouette, featuring an OM (orchestra) body and a unique, shallowly curved Venetian cutaway, has earned it a reputation as a "modern classic" for its sophisticated design and sound, making it a favorite among many musicians.
Its looks belie its thick, substantial fundamental tone, and despite its OM body, it has a wide dynamic range that makes it feel like you're playing a dreadnought. And yet, it responds quickly to picking, with the entire body vibrating smoothly and losslessly even with a light touch, and when you touch harder, the sound image is firmly received without being crushed, resulting in a sound balance that faithfully reflects the player's touch nuances.
Both the looks and design of this model perfectly reflect Dana's original design philosophy, making it truly worthy of being called a flagship.
This guitar, serial number 10924, features a beautiful Italian spruce top with rippling grain running horizontally, and Madagascar rosewood with a striking reddish color and contrasting grain, making it a truly captivating instrument.
The sound is characterized by the solid fundamental and midrange tone that is typical of Beaujois. At first glance, it may seem tight, but the performance feels full of solidity and guts, and it has so much potential that it makes you wonder, "How will it develop in the future?"
It's not just a heavy sound, but also has a rich musical richness that is truly impressive. This is a guitar that I would especially recommend to anyone who wants to experience the joy of growing with their guitar.
Although it is a team-built product, it is no exaggeration to say that the quality is comparable to that of Luthier Made. It has evolved significantly from the Beaujois of the past, and even though it has become a top brand in the industry, you can still feel its determination to evolve.
The Soloist is an extremely rare model, with only a few units distributed domestically each year.
Please take this opportunity to try it out.
