Description
Description
Headway produces a wide range of guitars, from traditional to exotic and modern, and is known for its high level of craftsmanship. At Headway, there's the Aska Team Build, a small but highly skilled team of several members who have built a 10-year career under master builder Momose. Aska Team Build incorporates rare woods not typically used in regular models, as well as processing and design techniques that require advanced skills, resulting in guitars crafted with meticulous attention to detail, not only in sound but also in appearance.
This model, limited to just 10 pieces, boasts a special show model finish. The body top is made of Sitka spruce, the sides and back are made of Somei-Yoshino cherry wood from Ishikawa Prefecture, and the center of the back is made of Indian rosewood. Somei-Yoshino cherry is a familiar tree to Japanese people, but the grain varies greatly from log to log. The Somei-Yoshino cherry used in this model has the characteristic brown wood grain of Somei-Yoshino, producing a warm, wide-ranging sound. The solid sound of the Indian rosewood center adds to this, resulting in a wonderfully balanced sound. The 000-shape body, known as a folk type, produces a clear and delicate sound, enveloping you in a powerful, brilliant, and well-balanced sound.
The neck is made of African mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, and the thin neck grip provides excellent playability. It also incorporates two carbon support bars for added rigidity. This not only maintains the neck's rigidity, but also contributes to the quick response that transmits vibrations the instant you play.
The back of the body is decorated with a golden eagle and cherry blossoms, with a woman holding a Japanese umbrella looking up at them. The fingerboard and pickguard feature inlays of feathers and fluttering cherry blossoms, and the pickguard also features a golden eagle, creating a truly lyrical look. The body color is a unique blue-down gradient, giving it a dignified appearance. The included sound hole cover is made of Kanazawa gold leaf, further enhancing this special guitar.
The unique design is the culmination of Headway's many years of know-how and technology.
This is truly a model worthy of being a show model!
