We have a used Regius 6 on consignment in stock!
Model produced around 2016
We have a used Regius 6, Mayones' flagship model, in stock.
Judging from the serial number, it appears to have been produced around 2016, and although there are scratches and some fret wear in various places consistent with its age, there are no particular issues with the neck or electrical system, and the playability aspects remain in good condition.
Regarding the pickups, the Seymour Duncan TB-4 pickup installed on the bridge side was broken when we received it, making it difficult to use. However, we replaced it with the same TB-4 pickup installed at our shop, and although there is a difference in appearance due to aging compared to the pickup on the front side, it is now in perfect condition for normal use.
This instrument appears to have the regular specs from 2016 with the addition of a center dot option on the top of the fingerboard.
The specifications from this period were that the body bend shape was slightly flatter than the current model, and the pickups were thought to be Seymour Duncan's TB-4 JB Model (Bridge)/SH-2 Jazz (Neck), which were standard at the time, and the bridge was an ABM fixed bridge.
There are some differences from the current model, such as the shape of the body bend, parts, and control specifications, but the wood materials such as the flame maple top, swamp ash wings, and 11-ply maple neck, as well as the high-quality finish that is unique to Mayones, are still intact, making this a guitar that allows you to fully enjoy the Regius sound just like the current model.
Although the player is in good condition for its age, new units are scarce and prices for new units continue to rise, making used units like this one extremely valuable. If you've been looking for a Regius model, this is a great opportunity, so please consider purchasing one.
