The ultimate ergonomic headless bass, 6-string, multi-scale model

This bass combines portability, the greatest advantage of the headless style, with ease of playability. And above all, it's designed with ingenuity in bass sound. Traditionally, headless basses have often been described as "no sound" or "difficult to use," but the Ibanez Bass Workshop has reexamined them and created the all-new EHB headless bass. It's not a copy of other headless models, nor is it simply a headless version of an existing design or shape. The EHB, a new Ibanez bass, is born.

The ergonomic EHB body design provides a perfectly balanced fit for the player, whether standing or seated.

The horn's shape is designed to balance the body and neck when playing standing up and to make it easy to hold, while the body curve on the treble side was designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated. The surface of the body has been contoured to create a slope where the elbow rests. Additionally, all body edges that come into contact with the body have been given a smooth radius. The back of the body has been boldly cut so that it tapers toward the bass strings. This not only improves fit when playing seated, but also takes into account the eye angle when viewing the fingerboard inlays. Additionally, the back of the horn on the treble side has been cut in a scoop shape to make the high fret area easier to access.

By experiencing the vibrations inside the body directly, like in a chambered hollow body, players will be able to better recognize the sound they are producing. This also leads to a slight weight reduction.

Vari Mid 3 Band EQ w/EQ bypass switch
As the abbreviation "Variable frequency control for Mid EQ" suggests, this EQ provides flexible control of the Mids. A typical three-band EQ divides the frequency range into three bands, such as High, Mid, and Low, and allows the developer to focus on a frequency range they specify and control the boost or cut. However, the Vari Mid lets the user freely adjust the Mid focus. For example, by setting the Mid to 100Hz, which is roughly the bass range, and boosting that frequency, you can compensate for a lack of bass.

Nordstrand Big Split custom pickup: This split pickup has a sweet tone and a rich bottom end. It naturally covers everything from bass lines to funky slap sounds.
