SR multi-scale 6-string model with poplar burl top

To create a new bass guitar like no other, based on a solid concept. To reexamine our own bass guitar with a theme in mind, and create an even more exciting bass guitar. And to broaden the joy of playing together with bassists who resonate with us. The Ibanez Bass Workshop is a project that Ibanez is proud to undertake, as a Japanese bass guitar brand.

●Multi-scale parallel frets are placed at the 9th fret, with 35.5 inches on the 6th string side and 33.6 inches on the 1st string side, and the scale is set to 6th string: 35.5 inches - 1st string: 33.6 inches.
The fretting system ensures sufficient tension on the bass strings while providing comfortable playing on both the low and high fret sides of all strings.
The five-piece slim neck is made of jatoba wood, which is highly resistant to bending and impact, laminated with the equally hard walnut wood. The top features a smoothly arched poplar burl wood and an okoume wood body (with a 4mm thick walnut laminate between the two).
●3D arched SR body for a more integrated feel with the body ●MR5S bridge, an evolution of the Mono-Rail bridge with its independent string structure (the saddles can move left and right by ±1.5mm, allowing for a constant and flexible string pitch).
●Equipped with Bartolini(R) BH2 pickups. Features a well-balanced, warm response with a tight bottom end and rich midrange.
Active 3-band EQ with 3-pattern mid-band frequency selector and EQ bypass switch. This equalizer produces a wide-range, low-noise active sound. (Powered by 006P alkaline batteries)
By flipping the switch, the mid-range frequency band, which is the key to the bass sound, can be switched to 250Hz, 450Hz, or 700Hz.
It also has an EQ bypass switch, allowing it to be used as a passive bass guitar (when bypassed, the tone is controlled with the Treble knob).
