Light Multi Scale BTB 7-string model

The Ibanez BTB Boutique Bass offers high specs and expressive power that stimulates the player's senses. Along with the SR series, it's one of Ibanez's most iconic basses, boasting a rich history. Its deep cutaway and neck-through construction provide excellent playability and sustain, while the carefully selected woods and independent bridge for each string ensure a rich tone and a look that embodies the Boutique name.

●LM (Light Multi Scale)
The 1st string side is 33.5 inches, while the 7th string side is 35 inches for a comfortable low B sound. This exquisite difference in scale eliminates the difficult playability that is often associated with multi-scale basses, while still providing a crisp low tone that cannot be achieved with long-scale basses. While the selection of materials and craftsmanship are faithful to the Boutique Bass name from which BTB was derived, the design is not limited to any particular scene or genre, and the wide range of sound makes it a BTB that can be easily embraced by anyone. This model broadens the base of multi-scale basses and sets itself apart from previous BTB models.

9-piece maple/panga-panga/walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rod. The neck is made of 9-piece maple, which provides a clear sound image and rich attack, as well as hard walnut and panga-panga. A graphite rod inside the neck enhances rigidity. The back of the neck has the same low gloss finish as the body.

The neck-through body and 33.5-35 inch multi-scale neck-through construction provide long sustain, rich resonance, and a seamless playing feel between the neck and back, which are perhaps the greatest features of the BTB. The scale is also a multi-scale, with a characteristic BTB scale of 35 inches on the 7th string side and 33.5 inches on the 1st string side.
The BTB LM model's unique design ensures a solid sound even with the thicker gauge bass strings, while minimizing the difference in playing feel compared to a typical long-scale bass.

Bubinga/Ash/Okoume laminated wing and body
The top is made of flame maple, which has a unique appearance for each guitar, and the wing body is made of laminated ash and okoume wood.

Rosewood fingerboard (with medium stainless steel frets)
The fingerboard is made of rosewood, the most popular material for a well-balanced sound. The frets are stainless steel, which are known for their bright sound quality and high durability.

●Ibanez T1 Pickup This is an original two-separate-coil humbucker designed to produce a sound with tight bass response, punchy midrange, and clear highs.

MR5S Bridge This guitar features an MR5S (monorail) bridge with a string pitch adjustment mechanism. Each string has an independent bridge, transmitting string vibration directly to the body. The saddle can also be moved 1.5mm left and right, allowing you to freely adjust the space between the strings (string pitch) within the adjustable range.
