Description
The J Select Series, a Japan-exclusive model created in collaboration with Suhr Guitar, is now available! The Standard Plus, featuring outstanding playability and beautiful grain, is now available!
Suhr Guitars has earned the trust of top professionals not only for its electric guitars but also for its amplifiers and replacement pickups, and has established a reputation as a high-end brand. The brand enjoys worldwide popularity among both professionals and amateurs, and continues to receive overwhelming support from top artists who do a lot of studio work.
The masterpiece we're introducing today is the "Standard Plus," a slightly smaller, more maneuverable model than a full-size guitar. It features a basswood body and flame maple construction, which John Suhr calls the "Holy Grail of Tone," with a pau ferro fingerboard, resulting in a tight, clear, and well-balanced sound. The roasted maple provides even more rigidity and clarity. The "Even C Slim" shape, with a satin finish that provides a smooth feel and a comfortable grip for technical playing. The "Stainless Steel/Heavy" frets produce a tight, responsive sound.
The pickups are equipped with "ML Standard" single coils and "SSH+" humbuckers in an SSH configuration, delivering a crisp clean sound and a tight setup that maintains clarity when driven, making it versatile for a wide range of genres. The guitar is equipped with an SSCII circuit, JST's proprietary passive 60-cycle hum noise reduction system, which eliminates noise without requiring a battery or altering the tone. The bridge is a Japanese-made Gotoh "G510 2-Post" bridge, which delivers a wide, natural tone while minimizing tuning drift caused by friction when using the arm.
The fingerboard features a "compound radius" that flattens from 10 inches to 14 inches from the nut to the last fret, providing excellent playability on the higher frets! The frets are made of "stainless steel/heavy" material, minimizing fret wear and maintaining excellent precision while producing a tight sound. The original locking tuners allow for quick response to unexpected problems, demonstrating Sur's unique commitment to the ultimate in convenience as a tool!
