Description

Recommended second-hand item!
The Fender Custom Shop 2016 Custom Collection Limited Edition Series 1959 Special Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Faded Sonic Blue is now available as a recommended pre-owned item!
The front pickup was replaced with a Seymour Duncan SSL-1 due to a broken wire. The inertia block was also replaced due to a broken arm, but this guitar is in perfect working condition and ready to use! Its pale Faded Sonic Blue color is a stunning piece!

The Fender Custom Shop was established in 1987 to create the finest Fender guitars using carefully selected wood from Fender's inventory, utilizing traditional handcraftsmanship and advanced manufacturing techniques. The shop inherits the traditions and techniques of the long-established Fender company, and the lineup, assembled by a limited staff of custom shop staff, is truly top-notch, including one-of-a-kind models like the Master Builder Series.
Many of the tools used in the production are the same ones that were used back then. Crafted with the utmost care by staff members who are thoroughly versed in Fender guitar know-how, these instruments boast the finest quality and sound to satisfy any player, and are sure to become a reliable companion that you can enjoy for a lifetime.

This is a limited edition model from the 2016 Custom Collection Limited Edition Series!
This guitar features 1959, a pivotal year in Stratocaster history. 1959 was the year the slab rosewood fingerboard was adopted. This particular guitar features a rich rosewood finish. The neck is made of beautiful AAA Flame Maple! The neck shape is a 59 C back shape, making it easy to play for everyone. The 9.5 radius and Jumbo 6100 frets provide excellent playability.

The body is made of carefully selected alder, offering a rich mid-range body resonance and tone. The body finish is Journeyman Relic, which recreates the patina of a carefully played guitar, rather than the intense stage finish. The neck and back are finished in Heavy Relic, and the stripped finish adds a touch of character!
.
The guitar was originally equipped with three Josefina Campos Hand Wound Poblano Poblano Stratocaster pickups, but the neck pickup was broken, so it has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SSL-1. (The broken original pickup is included.)

The controls are Master Volume, Master Greasebucket Tone Circuit in the middle, and Blender on the second!
The Master Greasebucket Tone Circuit attenuates the low frequencies as you turn down the tone knob, allowing you to produce brilliant clean tones and amazing overdrive sounds without muddying the tone!
Furthermore, when selecting the front or rear, the Blender control allows you to output a mix of the front and rear! This sound is extremely effective in live performances, allowing guitarists to create the presence-filled tone they desire without interfering with vocals!
This mixed sound, commonly known as the "Telecaster sound," is highly valued by world-famous legendary musicians and many working guitarists!

The body finish color is Super Faded Sonic Blue! The slightly faded Sonic Blue color has an irresistible blue hue!

This time, we have a recommended used item in stock! It is made in 2016.
As mentioned above, the guitar was equipped with three Hand Wound Poblano Poblano Stratocaster Pickups, but the front pickup was broken, so it was replaced with a Seymour Duncan SSL-1.
In addition, the arm was broken, so the inertia block was replaced with a Fender one. The arm was also replaced with a Montreux one. The original cap is still attached.
The pickup bobbin and arm have not been relic treated, but this does not affect use as is.

This guitar has been relic treated, so there are unknown scratches, dents, discoloration, or stains that may have been present later, but it is in excellent condition. It has been fully maintained and cleaned at our shop, so it's ready to play! The authentic relic treatment recreates its history with realistic dents, cracks, and stripped neck back.

The frets have been adjusted and are ready to use. Approximately 80% of the frets remain. The nut is in good condition and can be used as is. The truss rod can be adjusted normally.

The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.

The weight is approximately 3.48 kg. It's easy to use yet has a great balance that produces a solid sound!

Accessories include a blonde Tolex hard case, key, certificate, Limited Edition certificate with specifications, broken front pickup, Montreux arm, bridge cover, and strap.

Don't miss this opportunity!
