Description

Used Iron Cobra Powerglide Twin Pedal, a model produced in the 2000s, now in stock!

-Iron Cobra Drum Pedal-
The Iron Cobra concept is Smoothness, Adjustability, and Stability.
Smoothness: A design that transmits the player's movements accurately to the beater without loss.
Numerous adjustable mechanisms allow players to always play in the best position.
And stability that can withstand any hard hit.
As a model that embodies these three concepts, the Iron Cobra has been loved around the world since its release in 1993.
At the same time, Iron Cobra is also mindful of including all the necessary features without any unnecessary features.
It is possible to add any number of functions to pedals, but adding extra mechanisms will affect the pedal's basic operation and adjustment capabilities, so we carefully consider whether the function is truly necessary and then proceed with development.
So in 2007, we equipped the Iron Cobra with two new mechanisms. The new Iron Cobra promises efficient action that responds accurately and reliably to the player's commands.

-Power Glide-
The Power Glide is an eccentric cam model.
This original action features a straight cut on the top edge of the circular wheel, increasing beater speed just before it hits the head. This model combines smooth action with power.
This is a popular model among drummers who want fast, powerful playing.

-Cobra Coil-
The Cobra Coil is a pedal assist mechanism based on a completely new concept that assists the footboard's return, allowing for smoother, more responsive pedal action.
Previously, the only way to make the pedal respond faster was to increase the spring tension, but increasing the spring tension made the pedal harder to press down.
The Cobra Coil supports the pedal's return by "lifting" the foot pedal from below. It is designed so that you only touch the pedal halfway down, allowing you to press down with the same feeling as before.
In addition, the position of the Cobra coil can be changed on the back of the underplate, allowing you to adjust the pedal's return.

-New Cobra Pedal Frame-
Highly flexible nylon bushings are installed inside the frame that secures the ball bearings. This reduces unnecessary pressure on the bearings caused by slight twisting of the frame, and always supports proper bearing movement relative to the shaft, resulting in ideal pedal action.

-Smoothness-
The most important thing about a drum pedal is that it moves smoothly. We've put a lot of effort into making this pedal so that it accurately expresses the player's thoughts, including speed, dynamics, and even the subtle nuances of phrases.

-Adjustability-
One of the IRON COBRA's consistent concepts since its launch in 1993 has been adjustability. Drummers of all builds and playing styles can adjust their pedals to suit their preferences. The IRON COBRA is a pioneer in this field.
