SilentStroke is a newly developed drum head that uses a single-ply mesh head to reduce the volume by approximately 90% compared to a standard drum head. This makes it perfect for practicing at home, or when you need to keep the volume down due to venue restrictions. Simply replace the head with this and you can play as usual without worrying about how much force you apply.
*Decibel measurement Top: SilentStroke/Bottom: ClearAmbassador
A typical drumhead when hit with a full shot: ~100 decibels (equivalent to the volume of a subway)
With Silent Stroke attached: ~80 decibels (equivalent to the volume of an alarm clock)
