VegaTrem -VT1 Ultra Trem-
Every guitarist who owns a Stratocaster has dreamed of a Floyd-type tremolo, but to achieve this, the guitar needs to be modified and new holes drilled.
The VegaTrem is a revolutionary tremolo unit that solves this problem and can be installed on most ST models without modification. The smooth arm action and stable tuning will take your music to the next level!
The patented VT system (ES 1119430 U) is based on two fundamental concepts: it does not change the bridge dimensions of the existing standard cavity of the ST model, and it uses the existing bridge pivot.
To optimize the movement of the bridge, we adopted a part (fulcrum) that replaces the conventional concept of screw support, changed the pivot's center of movement, and redesigned the saddle, plate, and block to give the movement a greater amplitude.
The geometry of the plate's support points on the fulcrum has also been modified to minimise friction to virtually non-existence, resulting in a system that produces a homogeneous action completely free of unwanted noise and that is very satisfying to musical performances.
(Low-friction nuts and locking tuners are recommended.)
◆Features - Simple and easy installation As you all know, replacing, installing, and adjusting a tremolo unit is a difficult task.
The VT1 Ultra Trem allows you to replace the tremolo unit using only a screwdriver and wrench.

We took on this challenge and developed the VT1 Ultra Trem.
-Smooth playability through compact design With an emphasis on playability as well as modifications, we focused on a compact size that is as close as possible to the original tremolo.
As a result, it does not protrude too much from the body, allowing for smooth playing that is not distorted compared to a normal tremolo.
- Perfected looks that are as close to the original as possible For guitarists, the cool looks of a guitar are the most important point. No matter how good the tremolo is, if it is a system that protrudes too far from the center of the guitar body, it will affect not only the looks but also the sound.

◆Maintenance: To use the VT1 system correctly, apply grease or other lubricant to the grooves in the fulcrum where the bushings on the tremolo bar support and the plate are fixed.
The VT1 ULTRATREM system includes four sets of springs (two springs) with different tensions.
It is best to use two springs. Basically, choose the springs according to the gauge below. (Gauge of 1st string)

High tension …… 0.11 or higher
Medium tension...for 0.10
Low tension……… for 0.09
Extra low tension... for 0.08
However, if you are unable to obtain the tension you are satisfied with due to various factors such as the size of your guitar or the adjustment procedure, try using a different spring or combining springs with different tensions as shown below to achieve the ideal tension.
1 high tension + 1 medium tension
1 medium tension + 1 low tension
1 low tension + 1 extra low tension
The ideal setting is to keep the base plate parallel to the top surface of the guitar.
Adjust the spring hanger so that it does not come into contact with the body when the arm bar is raised.
