Description
Description
Founded in 1991 as a division of a Seattle-based lumber company, the brand was loved by many musicians for its unique sound and design until the factory closed in 2008.
This instrument, the P-1 Papoose, was released in 1997 and became one of the most popular models from the brand.
This model was once a hot topic when it was used by Kotaro Oshio.
Wood materials include cedar top, mahogany back and sides, and rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
Despite being a small instrument, it has an addictive character with thick bass and crispness.
The body size is slightly smaller than a typical mini guitar, and the tuning is "A tuning," which is two and a half steps higher than regular tuning.
The unique hole position and bracing pattern create an indescribable, distinctive "Tacoma sound," which will make you want to keep playing it forever once you pick it up, and you'll become addicted.
The condition of this instrument is such that there are signs of use, including dents and scratches on the top surface in several places.
The nut was replaced when it arrived at our store, and it is in excellent condition. The size and playability are excellent.
It is equipped with a passive contact piezo made by Enfini Custom Works, and when connected to a preamp, it outputs a very realistic sound like a microphone recording.
This pickup directly outputs vibrations from the body, making it ideal for playing with strokes, fingers, and even body taps.
It is rarely available on the market and has become a very rare instrument.
I'm sure there are many people who have been looking for this! Don't miss this opportunity to get it!
