Description
Description
Ibanez electric acoustic guitar modelsIbanez is popular both in Japan and overseas. They offer a wide range of acoustic guitars in addition to electric guitars, and their products, which incorporate their electric guitar know-how, boast designs and playability that are different from those of other manufacturers.
The AAM380CE-NT is a well-balanced guitar designed with playability and audio quality in mind, featuring a comfortable body. The body features a Sitka spruce top and rosewood back and sides, while the neck is made of African mahogany and features an ebony fingerboard. While this is a classic acoustic guitar design, the guitar features side holes on the body for enhanced acoustics. While side holes are a common feature, the AIR (Acoustic Information Response) port is designed with two internal reverberation chambers that refract and reflect sound waves, allowing them to resonate more efficiently through the port. The AIR port is positioned directly below the player, enhancing their sense of their own acoustic sound. The body shape also provides excellent balance when held, allowing you to experience your own sound firsthand. The waist (widest part) of the body is designed to be slightly wider than a typical auditorium, but the narrowest part of the body is positioned slightly narrower towards the neck than a typical auditorium in consideration of weight balance. Furthermore, to make it easier to hold, the edges of the body are gently angled and rounded.
The neck is made from the highest quality wood for musical instruments, selected for its low moisture content after regular seasoning. It is also Thermo-Aged, a process that involves heating the wood in a vacuum at high temperatures using a proprietary recipe to remove unwanted resins and moisture. Thermo-Aged wood improves volume and response compared to untreated wood. The neck features a low oval grip for comfortable grip, and the fingerboard edges are rounded.
The pickups are a piezo pickup installed under the saddle and a contact pickup under the bridge, with dual volume controls for the piezo pickup (knob on the back) and the contact pickup (knob on the top).
The AAM380CE-NT combines sound and playability
Recommended for all styles, including stroke and finger playing!
