The Brora overdrive sound produced by ENT EFFECTS, a Japanese handmade effects pedal brand, has been praised from all quarters, including on YouTube.
While inheriting the know-how of the first model, "AOD," and the second model, "Shinuchi," this model aims to produce a completely different, different dimension of tone.

This pedal is based on the following three concepts:
In other words, this pedal is not an overdrive pedal with a unique sound quality, but rather one that was created with the idea of respecting existing pedals while reproducing the high-quality sound that ENT envisions.
Existing overdrive pedals come in a variety of lineages, including TS, Transparent, Dumble and Marshall pedals, but Brora has a sound that doesn't fall into any of these categories, and we've selected the circuit and parts to create it so that it encompasses all of them.
The circuit is simple
The dual-circuit op-amp is designed with the front stage used as an amplification stage to obtain gain, and the back stage used as a tone circuit, and was created with a focus on producing a clear, direct sound.
However, because it is a simple circuit, the component constants had to be set very carefully.
Starting with pinpoint research to determine the values of resistors and capacitors, we carefully set the constants to achieve an overdrive sound quality never before seen.
It produces a brilliant tone from low to high frequencies.
Brora has a wider range than existing overdrives, which not only improves sound quality but also allows you to maximize the potential of your guitar and amplifier.
This pedal is faithful to the original sound, just like transparent pedals, but also has the characteristic mid-range feel of TS pedals, and allows you to experience the high resolution that the ENT brand is known for.
We encourage you to try out a variety of guitars and amps.
The heart of the amplifier is the high-speed op amp LT1361. The circuit has been optimized to deliver the natural yet crisp sound that only a high-speed op amp can provide.
Volume: A B-curve potentiometer is used, so the volume is flat and consistent with the original sound from 10 o'clock to 12 o'clock. When using this unit as a booster, slightly increasing the Drive will increase the volume.
Drive: A gentle gain is obtained from 5:00 to 13:00, and the gain increases sharply from 14:00. Oscillation may occur depending on the environment, so please adjust the gain accordingly.
Tone: This control is centered at 5 o'clock (LEVEL 0). It is a tone circuit that mainly adjusts the high mids. As you turn up the tone, the gain is slightly increased, giving you a crisp mid-range sound.
This product is powered by a DC 9V power supply. Please use a stable AC adapter or 9V battery.
●When connecting multiple effects units, please use an AC adapter. If only this unit is powered by batteries, noise may occur depending on the compatibility with other effects units.
There is some tarnish on the metal parts, but there is almost no sign of use and it still looks beautiful.
