Description
Description
"The true essence of a 100W guitar amp that combines vacuum tubes with the latest technology."
Continuing the tradition of the St. James series, the St. James 100 head combines traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to create the world's lightest 100W tube amplifier. The St. James 100 is packed with innovative and unique features that set it apart from the competition.
Versatile Power Tube Configurations The St. James 100 Head is equipped with two 6L6 and two EL34 power tubes. A front-panel switch allows you to switch these power stages in 50-watt mode or combine four tubes for 100-watt mode, providing unparalleled sonic versatility.
Groundbreaking Power Amp "Cut" Selector: For the first time, Blackstar introduces a switchable "Cut" selector. This three-position selector allows you to fine-tune the treble of your amplifier. This customization allows you to perfectly match the overall sound of your amplifier to your preferences. From an aggressive, sustained high end to a warm, vintage sound, you can shape the overall sound of your amplifier to your liking.
Superior Connectivity and Tone Control: The St. James 100 Head features a built-in reactive load and Blackstar's IR-based CabRig technology, providing direct, professional tone for both live performances and recording sessions. It also features a switchable effects loop (series/parallel) and a +2 to +6 dB solo boost, selectable via the included 6-way footswitch.
■Modern aesthetics with classic charm The new design follows the St. James lineup to date, but is innovative in that it emphasizes the internal vacuum tubes. This design strongly expresses the fact that it is a genuine vacuum tube amplifier, while being lightweight and featuring advanced technology.
CabRig Simulator Technology The world-class CabRig™ IR-based DSP speaker simulator recreates the sound and feel of a miked guitar cabinet with astonishing detail. CabRig's new advanced algorithm simulates speaker cabinets and rooms with virtually zero latency, no phase mismatch, and in a much more flexible way than IR snapshots. Experience amazing tone through the USB/XLR output or headphones with the included software.
■Professional Connectivity With many musicians recording at home today, the St.James features a USB audio connection for professional recording and an XLR DI for professional live use, and with its built-in inductive load and CabRig speaker simulation, it is perfectly suited to a variety of playing styles.
