Description
Description
Comes complete with accessories and manufacturer's warranty, making it a great bargain!
The Hi-Mu drive pedal precisely tracks the volume and tone of the guitar itself, allowing you to freely create anything from aggressive distortion to old fuzz tones!
It will match the riffs and lead tones you want to impress!
The Fulltone Custom Shop Hi-Mu takes sustain, touch sensitivity and articulation to new heights.
It's crafted with full-size components, matched JFETs, and hand-soldered finishes—no op-amps, diodes, or digital circuitry. Designed for singing lead voices, it features four New Old Stock full-size JFETs configured as Mu-Stacks for amp-like operation. It cleans up nicely with your guitar's volume knob turned down, and has plenty of midrange, clarity, sustain, and harmonics.
The three-position Bass switch works in conjunction with the EQ knob to emphasize or eliminate low frequencies. This switch becomes less noticeable when the EQ knob is turned clockwise toward 12 o'clock. The EQ knob is not a traditional high-cut, but rather allows for drastic tonal changes, ranging from rich and smooth (around 9 o'clock) to sharp and cutting (around 3 o'clock).
●Sustain knob: Turning clockwise distorts the sound.
●Footswitch Full bypass with LED status, preventing tone loss when the pedal is off.
●Input jack: Connect the mono shielded cable from your guitar to this jack.
●Output jack: Connect a mono shielded guitar cable from this jack to your amplifier or next effect.
Power Jack: Use only a high-quality, regulated 9-18 volt center-negative power source. Ensure the plug is a standard 2.1mm x 5.5mm size.
●Battery: To access the 9V battery (included), loosen the thumbscrews on each side of the pedal and remove the housing. If the battery is dead, remove and replace it, then replace the pedal. Tighten the thumbscrews by hand, not with a tool.
