Description

Destroy your signal like never before.

The CROSSOVER FUZZ is a fuzz pedal that splits the input signal into high and low frequencies by applying a low-pass/high-pass filter, then processes each with Death By Audio's signature powerful fuzz circuit. The frequency at which the bands are separated can be set with the FREQ knob, and the resonance of the low-pass and high-pass filters can also be adjusted. Each fuzz circuit has its own independent GAIN and VOLUME, allowing you to create fuzz sounds with a completely new approach.

Want to blow the crowd away with your band mix? Turn the FREQ knob to slice and dice with surgical precision or go into chaotic oscillator madness. Adjust the HIGH and LOW VOLUME independently to carve out gritty sounds or achieve the EQ of your dreams!

The low-pass and high-pass filters cover a wide frequency range. The resonance control allows you to go from smooth filtering to brutal oscillation. The filter sweep can be controlled with CV or expression, and the LED display shows you where the crossover is in real time. Plus, it looks amazing on a dark stage!

Free routing for endless sonic adventures!

With independent high and low inputs and outputs, the Crossover Fuzz lets you do things like no other fuzz pedal on the planet: split the signal to two different amps, route the bands creatively with separate effects, and even pan the sound of each band bouncing around like a rubber ball.

MONO: Input to INPUT H or INPUT L, output from HIGHS MONO. The low-pass and high-pass signals are combined, summed, and output from a single output.

MONO TO STEREO: Input to INPUT H or INPUT L, output from HIGHS and LOWS, and convert the signal to stereo. A low-pass signal is output from the LOWS output, and a high-pass signal is output from the HIGHS output.

STEREO TO MONO: Input to INPUT H and INPUT L, output from HIGHS MONO. The low-pass and high-pass signals are summed and output from a single output.

STEREO: When both inputs and outputs are used, INPUT L becomes the LOW output and INPUT H becomes the HIGHS output, allowing for full stereo operation.
