Description
Description
This is a used 2005 "D-28," which is more than just a Martin; it is a classic and popular acoustic guitar. In recent years, it has been made into a standard series with vintage-style specifications such as antique-toned colors and open-gear pegs, but this is from a period when it had Grover pegs, a black pickguard, and a gold-leaf Martin logo on the headstock. It also features a 42.9mm nut width and an easy-to-grip neck grip.
The body is constructed of Sitka spruce for the top, Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and a classic combination of select hardwoods for the neck with an ebony fingerboard. It features a vibrant sound with rich overtones typical of a dreadnought, different from the current Standard Series.
Manufactured in 2005, it has scratches and minor dents from playing, consistent with its age. The bridge was also repaired and the heel cap remade at the repair workshop, so overall it shows signs of use. There's plenty of fret left and the neck is in good condition, making it a highly recommended guitar for players.
We offer this at a bargain price as it has been repaired!
This is a recommended item for those looking for a bargain on a model that is not currently in production.
