A reissue that dates back to before the Tube Screamer

I believe the Ibanez Tube Screamer played a major role in the sound effects that are now categorized as overdrive. The best proof of this is that after the Tube Screamer, it was lumped together as a sound in its lineage, and even the green body is sometimes described as something that resembles it, or something that developed from it. But what about before that?

The OD850 is truly one of those classic pedals that gives you a glimpse into the Ibanez OVERDRIVE before it even came out. Its distinctive sound is brought back to life with the same circuit design as the original OD850, using a 100% analog circuit. The housing follows the original design as much as possible, including the color, and even the packaging mimics the original. Equipped with an ON/OFF LED and a DC power jack, the true bypass design is designed for modern stage use.

However, by reissuing the original product name, it may be confusing for those looking for what is now commonly referred to as an OD. I'm sure that this pre-TS classic pedal has that same feeling about it.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
