Epiphone has significantly revamped its 2020 product lineup. The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson collection is available in two categories: the Original and Modern Collections. The Epiphone Original Collection features classic acoustic and electric guitars that have supported players and the music scene since their inception as Epiphone icons. These guitars feature a headshape known as the Kalamazoo headstock. While maintaining their classic looks, they incorporate electronics and other technologies cultivated over the years by the Epiphone brand.
The SG Standard recreates the legendary classic style of the '60s, which supported renowned hard rock and heavy metal bands such as The Who, Cream, AC/DC, and Black Sabbath. It features a large batwing pickguard to match the classic color scheme. It's equipped with CTS electronics, Epiphone Deluxe tuners, and Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers.
As for the condition of the individual guitar, there are a few small scratches and some dullness on the parts, but no deep scratches that detract from the aesthetic, and it can generally be described as in excellent condition. The frets remain at about 80% of their original height, and there are no problems with playability, including the neck and electrical system, making it a guitar that you can enjoy for many years to come. This jet-black SG Standard guitar is perfect for a rock style, so be sure to consider it!
