Lynx-quality desktop interface
Mesa is a Thunderbolt 3 desktop audio interface that's perfect for everything from mixing and mastering to recording and listening.
It boasts the same quality as Lynx's flagship Aurora(n) and inherits the touchscreen interface that has been well-received in Hilo, providing excellent UI and controls, as well as the highest audio quality.
●For all occasions
Despite its compact desktop design, Mesa features professional AD/DA conversion, including four analog inputs and two outputs, and dual headphone outputs with independent level controls.
Designed for musicians, recording engineers, live sound engineers and others who demand the purest sound possible, it delivers the same audio quality and transparency as the acclaimed Aurora(n) interface/converter.
It also features the same high-contrast capacitive touchscreen as Hilo 2 for clear operation. A variety of functions can be accessed using the dedicated Mesa Control software app. A built-in MicroSD card slot lets you use Mesa as your primary or backup recording device, ideal for live or remote recording.
●Abundant inputs and outputs, excellent operability
Mesa's combo input connectors are designed for mic, line, and DI, allowing you to directly connect instruments like electric guitars, basses, and keyboards, as well as microphones. Each channel can be configured for individual inputs. Monitor outputs are provided via 1/4-inch balanced TRS connectors. Additionally, Mesa offers S/PDIF coaxial I/O, optical I/O (supporting both 2-channel S/PDIF and 8-channel ADAT), and word clock I/O. Preset audio routings allow you to start recording right out of the box.
In addition to the excellent touchscreen interface, the unit also features four hardware buttons. Two function buttons, which can be used for both recording and playback, can be assigned to specific functions (allowing you to use different functions when an SD card is inserted or not). There's also a menu button and an all mute button. The function of the large encoder knob can also be customized.
- 4 mic preamps (switchable between mic/line/Hi-Z)
14 total inputs and outputs, plus two loopback channels. Two headphone outputs with dedicated D/A and independent level controls. Compact and portable design ideal for studio and live recording. Aurora(n)-level audio quality and transparency. Thunderbolt 3 interface (compatible with Mac and Windows).
