There is some paint discoloration on the bottom left of the back of the body and small scratches and dents throughout, but over 90% of the frets remain, the truss rod has room to tighten and loosen, and there are no issues with the electrical system, so it can be said to be in player's condition.
This is a recommended item not only for collectors but also for those looking for a usable V!

This is a cool black pickguard version with a tight, masculine look.
This latest arrival is lightweight yet has just the right amount of weight. The overall sound is sharp, yet rich with a rich mid-low range. The thick body and neck grip, characteristic of a '58 model, create a fat, wild, and driving tone that's truly one of a kind. This "too early" design, poised to take flight into space, has been brought back to life by the current Custom Shop! This is a rare opportunity to own a legendary "Korina Flying V"! Don't miss out!
The Gibson Custom Shop represents the pinnacle of authentic accuracy, attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and exceptional sound.
The Gibson Flying V was released in 1958, and it's said that only 81 units were shipped that year, but this model was ahead of its time and has remained a favorite of many artists ever since.
This historic reissue model faithfully recreates the characteristics of the vintage Flying V.
Features include an ABR-1 bridge, a Korina body with strings threaded through the back, custom Bucker pickups, a Korina neck, an Indian rosewood fretboard, two volume and one tone controls with CTS pots and a Phonebook capacitor, gold hardware, Kluson tuners, and a 4-ply black pickguard.
