Description
Description
The MFV22 features an impressive original V-shaped body, with the body slightly cut on the 1st string side to allow for playability on the higher frets. The body and neck are made of high-quality mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of ebony.
It features a 635mm scale, a set neck joint, and a medium-sized 22 frets. The large aluminum alloy plate on the body top is engraved with Zemaitis' signature leaf design, creating a classic look.
The bridge and tailpiece are made of Zemaitis' original aluminum alloy, which is the key to creating Zemaitis' unique tone. The diamond emblem on the headstock, truss rod cover, tailpiece, pickup ring, and even the control and switch back plates are all engraved with the same aluminum alloy.
The pickups are two metal-covered Dragon Classic humbuckers, and the controls use the acclaimed CTS potentiometers. They feature a simple one-volume layout and a Switchcraft three-way pickup selector switch. The volume control and switch are positioned for quick access while playing. The guitar also features a treble bleed circuit, which maintains the same tone at full volume even when the volume is turned down.
The output jack is a reliable Switchcraft jack located on the top of the body.
Furthermore, it uses reliable Gotoh-made locking tuners that minimize tuning errors even during intense playing.
To bring out a strong attack and sharp tone, this model deliberately does not use nitrocellulose lacquer, but instead uses a matte polyurethane finish.
