We can confidently say that the DEMETER TRM-1 Tremulator is the most beautiful, magnificent, and gorgeous-sounding tremolo effect pedal available. It beautifully combines the musical sound of optical elements used to recreate a vintage sound with a clear, high-quality signal-to-noise ratio. This tremolo sound is reminiscent of vintage Fender amps, but without any of the noise or hum you might encounter, and offers a wide range of speed and depth controls. While tremolo effects from vintage amps often suffer from significant issues like loss of high frequencies and inaccurate volume control, the TRM-1 is completely free of these instabilities, producing a consistently accurate and flawless tremolo sound.
The DEPTH control adjusts the amount of modulation amplification applied to the signal. The Tremulator TRM-1 is designed to give precise tremolo even with very small gain settings, allowing you to achieve beautiful, great-sounding tremolo effects.
The tremolo effect can also be turned off by completely turning off the bias adjustment pot to the optical unit on the side of the pedal, allowing it to be used as a low-noise volume booster. This low-impedance output functions as a line driver, eliminating signal loss caused by long cable runs.
The SPEED control adjusts the speed of the tremolo amplitude, allowing you to control a wide range of effects from very fast modulation to a slow, earthy tremolo effect.
The Trim Pot mentioned earlier allows you to fine-tune the bias of the OPTICAL tremolo unit. This adjusts the effect amount and amplitude width on the time axis. Turning it up will squeeze the signal, while turning it down will loosen it. When shipped, it is set to the state preferred by Ry Cooder.
The only tremolo effect pedal with such great sound quality and such a wide range of adjustment is the DEMETER TRM-1. Carefully selected components and a design that is comparable to professional audio have been used to achieve great sound quality that simply enhances the texture of the sound.
