Description

Simply by applying it, you can improve the performance of your instrument, adding power and direction to the sound.

Swing chips are button-shaped chips with a diameter of approximately 9mm that are carefully carved one by one from solid wood that has been cryo-treated using carefully selected materials.
The shape was arrived at through repeated testing, both acoustically and physically, with numerous professional players.
The surface has a special wave processing that makes it more sensitive to the vibration frequencies generated by the instrument without creating a specific peak at the resonant frequency of the tip itself.
Furthermore, special acoustic treatment is applied to improve the performance of the material itself, resulting in straight, powerful, and stable performance.

Problems such as inconsistent sound quality among individual notes or poor sound projection can sometimes be caused by unnecessary vibrations within the instrument itself. The Swing Chip eliminates the stress that players often feel when performing, enabling better performances that directly reflect their own imagination. Furthermore, by suppressing unnecessary vibrations, the vibration efficiency of the instrument itself is improved, significantly improving the clarity and directionality of sound quality. Use it as a way to unlock the potential of your existing instrument without having to buy a new one.

How to use: Remove any dirt, oil, or moisture from the area where you want to attach the sticker. Attach it to the instrument using the sticker.
The effect will vary depending on where you apply it, so try adjusting it to find the area where you get the best effect.
When the adhesive strength of the sticker weakens, replace it with a new one.

Examples of use by instrument: Brass instruments: The mouthpiece insertion point of the mouthpiece, or the welded part of the connecting support between the bell and mouthpiece. The tone changes depending on where it is used.
- Saxophone: Cork part of the neck, near the octave keys, etc. - Clarinet: Center of the barrel, top of the upper joint, etc. - Guitar and bass: Center of the top of the body, near the bridge, back of the head, etc.

Small vibrations generated by the sound source are amplified in the resonating section, causing the air to vibrate over a larger area, producing a louder sound.
This is the mechanism common to all musical instruments that consist of a sound source and a resonator. What is important here is to efficiently convert the energy generated by the sound source into vibrations in the air. However, the resonator of the instrument "vibrates itself" to some extent, resulting in a loss of energy from the sound source.

When the Swing Chip is attached to an acoustic point, the irregular vibration of the Swing Chip causes the resonance point of the resonating part to change continuously, reducing unwanted resonance in the resonating part.
By reducing energy loss in the resonating section, the energy of the sound source is converted more efficiently into sound, making the instrument's sound louder and more powerful. In addition, by removing unnecessary non-harmonic components that were generated in the resonating section, the clarity and directionality of the sound quality are greatly improved.
