Description
Description
This is a Schecter TR-PT, ordered from PG Shop.
The model that was ordered and selected by PG staff at the [SCHECTER presents Special Adjustment Session & Order Consultation Session with Artist's Exclusive Guitar Tech] held at our store, Shinsaibashi Premium Guitars (PG) in 2022, has finally arrived.
Among the many different pieces brought in, the PG staff's eye was drawn to a piece of high-quality ash. Based on the classic Schecter TL type TR-PT, this guitar features a 1P body made from luxuriously selected materials. It is a carefully crafted masterpiece, finished in a see-through butterscotch blonde finish that highlights the grain of the ash and is finished with an all-lacquer finish that is unique to custom-made guitars.
The pickups are MONSTER TONE TE TAP models. Despite being a single pickup, they allow tapping, and when combined with Schecter's signature low-cut pickup, they produce the sharp, well-defined sound characteristic of ash. The combination of the approximately 3.95kg body, rosewood fingerboard, and these pickups creates a distinctively treble-heavy sound, making this a truly unique instrument. While the guitar may look traditional at first glance, it offers a wide range of sounds that go beyond the classic TL-type sound, allowing you to discover new things.
The fret edges, carefully crafted by hand, feel exceptionally smooth, ensuring a smooth playing experience even on the higher frets. Luminlay position marks on both the top and sides of the fingerboard enhance visibility, even in low light conditions like on stage. The Super Adjust system allows for easy neck adjustment without removing the neck, and the bridge features 6-way brass saddles for precise octave adjustment, ensuring superior playability and practicality.
This is a custom-made product that combines traditional looks with modern specifications. Please take it in your hands and see for yourself how it performs.
