~~~~~The following is the product description for a new item. ~~~~~
The long-awaited new color of the SE Series model of John Mayer's signature Silver Sky has been released!
The SE Silver Sky Rosewood with rosewood fingerboard is now in stock!
A new color, Storm Gray Piano Black, has been released for the "SE SILVER SKY"!
The Silver Sky, created through a collaboration between John Mayer and PRS, has become the best-selling US-made guitar on a major American musical instrument retailer since its launch in 2018. When the release of the SE Silver Sky was announced in 2022, it became the hottest topic in the American market, with 13,000 orders received in just one day.
In Japan, the SE SILVER SKY won the "Musical Instrument Store Awards 2022 Product Category," and we are confident that this new color variation will also become a hot topic on social media and the internet around the world.
The SE Silversky Rosewood features a bolt-on neck, rosewood fingerboard, PRS bird inlays, 22 frets, a 25.5-scale length, an 8.5-radius, a two-point tremolo bridge, a double-action truss rod, and 635JMS pickups for a dynamic sound with plenty of bite and a rich midrange.
The new SE Silver Sky model embodies the tireless pursuit of sound and playability, embodied by John Mayer and PRS's commitment to quality, and inherits the sound and playability of the US-made Silver Sky.
"It's been a dream of mine for years to create a guitar that combines my beloved vintage specs with modern spirit and beauty.
After two years of research and refinement, the Silver Sky is the realization of my vision to reboot the electric guitar in the way it should look and feel. John Mayer
The SILVER SKY, which inspired John Mayer to describe it this way, is a guitar that is both a vintage single-coil guitar with all the specs you could want, yet separates itself from the image of the past. It is the result of several years of development in close collaboration between Grammy Award-winning musicians John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith.
The pop color variations and specs that don't make it feel like a low-cost model are the result of the sound of a model that was completed with great care by John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith.
