Description
A rare used '56 Stratocaster, limited to 2022, is now in stock!
This premium section is made using the finest materials and crafted with the high level of skill and dedication of a limited number of experienced staff. The Fender Custom Shop is a lineup that boasts the highest quality, inheriting the traditions and techniques of the long-established Fender company.
This is a 1956 Stratocaster that combines a two-piece alder body with a one-piece maple neck.
This Journeyman Relic guitar recreates the way it was played by its many owners. It features a high-quality two-piece alder body and a one-piece straight-grained maple neck. The excellent combination with the hand-wound pickups produces a superb tone with rich overtones and brilliant high frequencies.
The neck features a slim, soft V-shape and the smooth feel of relic wood. The 9.5-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets provide excellent playability.
The controls are modern, with a master volume, master tone, and blender control, allowing for versatile sound creation.
Due to the relic processing on this particular item, it is difficult to identify any scratches that may have been added later, but although there are no extremely large dents, there are some small scratches, scuff marks, and dullness on parts.
About 90% of the frets remain, the truss rod has ample room to tighten and loosen, and there are no issues with the electrical system, making this a ready-to-play guitar.
2022 hard case, arm, certificate, etc. included. Weight: Approx. 3.59kg
