Description
Description
Used Gibson semi-acoustic classic model "ES-335" now in stock!
This is the foundational model of the ES-335, a traditional Gibson semi-acoustic guitar born in the late '50s. Its thin-body design with a center block, which was innovative at the time, combined the traditional box resonance of a full acoustic with the extended sustain of a solid body, and has since established itself as a classic favorite among many guitarists.
This classic guitar, built at the Memphis Factory, which has been incorporated into the Custom Shop, features a slim taper neck and Grover pegs for easy handling. With a good balance of resonance, sustain, and attack, it's a versatile guitar suitable for a variety of genres, from blues and jazz to rock and fusion. It's a timeless classic design that continues to be a favorite.
This particular guitar has minor scratches and dents throughout, rust and tarnish on the metal parts, and cracks on the fret sides due to aging.
About 90% of the frets remain, there is some scratchiness in the rear tone, and the truss rod has room to be tightened and loosened.
2006 model, includes genuine hard case. Weight: Approx. 3.73kg
