ADAM subwoofers fully utilize their capabilities to achieve the ultimate goal of ``music reproduction with complete fidelity.''
This means achieving high power and accuracy at the same time, without sacrificing fidelity for "comfortable sound pressure" low frequency reproduction.The job these subwoofers are tasked with is to extend the clarity and transparency for which ADAM monitors are so acclaimed, even further down the frequency spectrum.
■ Equipped with XLR and RCA
All ADAM subwoofer series (Sub8 to Sub2100) are equipped with both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs and outputs, and are equipped with a control panel that allows them to be adapted to any acoustic environment.
The control panel has an output control from -60 dB to +6 dB, a ±180° phase converter switch, a sub-filter for high frequencies (50 Hz to 150 Hz), and an 85 Hz high-pass filter switch for the satellite outputs. It also has a signal-on continuous mode switch that turns the subwoofer on when a signal is input and turns it off if there is no input signal for 15 minutes.
What is Sub12?
The Sub12 is a powerful subwoofer for low frequency reinforcement in near-field and mid-field monitoring.
The 50mm voice coil is driven by a 200W ICE power amplifier, which achieves >90% efficiency by applying PWM technology to the power supply and amplifier sections, allowing full power operation without endangering the driver or electronics.
The Sub12 is equipped with a 12-inch woofer, delivering a sound pressure level (118 dB) that is 3 dB higher than the Sub10 MK2 and reproducing low frequencies down to 22 Hz. A bass reflex duct on the bottom prevents unnecessary exhaust noise.
Both XLR and RCA (cinch) inputs and outputs are available, allowing you to daisy-chain any number of units together to enhance the deep bass range in larger facilities or for applications requiring even greater sound pressure.
