Lion '68 is the only pedal that faithfully recreates the tones of three different 100-watt Plexi amps. Powerful Dual-Engine processing and world-class UAD modeling deliver the gorgeous clean, aggressive breakup, and hot-rod roar of the originals.

The Lion '68 takes crunch and searing lead tones even further with proven boost recipes like the Maestro EP-III preamp and Boss GE-10 10-band EQ.

The UAFX Control mobile app gives you complete access to Lion '68. Add the built-in noise gate, download custom tones, recall and archive presets, and explore generations of sound even further.
◆Details about the "Golden Units" To capture the classic Plexi sound, UA sought out the best examples with "laydown" transformers: a '68 Super Lead and a '69 Super Bass.
The "Brown" amp also uses a Variac to step down the wall power to 90 volts and rebias the amp to an extra hot state, giving it some of the most famous hot rod sounds and feel ever recorded.

To update the UAFX firmware, you will need a computer that meets the system requirements for the UA Connect app.
